Clayton 'Butch' Boomhower

Clayton "Butch" Boomhower of Hallville died on Dec. 14, 2002 at Ottawa General Hospital. He was 53.
He was born in Newport, Vermont on Feb. 10, 1949 to the late Francis James Boomhower and Beryl Emma Wing. He worked as a security guard, police officer, firefighter and paramedic. He was a former resident of Winchester.
Mr. Boomhower is survived by companion Christina Washburn. He is survived by children Brad, Scott (Tracey Secord), Robin (Jennifer Pilon), Christopher, Jamie and Julie (Tony Sullivan). He was grandpa of Shannon and Lillyonna. Also surviving are sister Judy Vachon (Carl); and uncles Ralph and Terry Boomhower. He was brother-in-law of Guy and Joeanne Martel.
The funeral was at Byers Funeral Home on Dec. 18 officiated by Shirley Nichol. Interment was at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Julie Boomhower, Brad Boomhower, Gene Danis, Robin Boomhower, Jamie Boomhower and Tony Sullivan.
