Eric Ball
Eric Ball passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Nov. 29, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer,. He was 75.
He was the loving husband of Jessie (nee Hoy) of Winchester. He was the dear father of Steven (Kathy) Ball of Chesterville, Susan Knapp (Nelson) of Winchester, Cathy Kelly (Dan) of Winchester and Wayne (Paula) Ball of Odessa. He is survived by his mother Jean Ball (nee Cross) of Winchester. He is also survived by grandchildren Sarah, Spencer, Kristin and Michael Ball; Ryan, Kirk and Tyler Knapp; and Shawn, Nathan and Dylan Kelly.
He was the brother of Lois Sweeney (late Robert) and Harold (Shirley) Ball.
Visitation was held at the Winchester Funeral Home on Dec. 1. The funeral service was held at Winchester United Church on Dec. 2 followed by interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Eric would be appreciated by the family.
