Stanley H. Holmes
Stanley H. Holmes passed away peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on April 7, 2004. He was 82.
He was the beloved husband of Hazel (nee Dunbar). He is survived by Edna (Mahlon McIntosh), Helen (the late Ira Spearman), Ida (Don Fulsom), Vivian (Ken Schultz), and Ray (Elsie) Holmes.
He was predeceased by Adelia Holmes, Jean Holmes, Lillian (the late George Quart), Doris (Howard Kennedy) and Reg Holmes. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends.
The visitation was held at Winchester Funeral Home on April 9. The funeral service took place at the Winchester Wesleyan Church on April 10 with Rev. Thurland Brown officiating. Interment followed at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lyall Holmes, Douglas Coons, John Arnold, Reg Kennedy, Tom Clapp and Vincent Zandbelt.
