Ada D. McDiarmid
Ada Dorothy McDiarmid of Winchester died peacefully in hospital on April 10, 2004. She was 84.
She was the beloved wife of the late Donald McDiarmid. She was dear mother of Diane (Floyd Graham) of Manotick, Karen Ellerton of Metcalfe, Derwyn of Vanier and the late Dale.
She was loving grandmother of Robert (Nicole Lalande) and Jeffrey Graham; and Kimberley and Deanna Ellerton. She was sister of Arnold (Pearl) Acres of Ottawa; Helen (Lorne) Wyatt of Metcalfe; Phyllis MacIntosh and Kathleen "Kay" (Keith) Holmes, all of Winchester; and the late Bruce and Carman.
Family and friends paid their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home in Metcalfe on April 12. The funeral was held on April 13 in the chapel of the funeral home. Spring interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery.
Donations to the Osgoode Baptist and Vernon United Church or Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
