Lise Irene Godard
Lise Irene Godard (nee Guindon) of Mountain, passed away Sept. 22, 2005 at home. She was 54.
She was born on Aug. 5, 1951 to Anita (nee Pigeon) Guindon and the late Joseph L. Guindon. Lise is survived by her husband Raymond Godard whom she married in Cumberland on June 29, 1974. She was the mother of Melanie Faber (Jerry) of Woodstock. She was grandmother to Cameron Faber and Jacob Desmond. She was the sister of Gilles, Michelle Jack, André (Michelle), Ginette Goyer (Grant), Yvon (Lise), Serge (Tracey), Josette (Daniel), Rémi (Melanie), and Pierre. She was the sister-in-law of Colombe Lafrance (Rodolphe), Gilles (Micheline), Denise Trudeau, André (Lise), Gilbert (Monique) and Jean-Guy (Sylvie). She was the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Lise was an office clerk at Godard Motors. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
The funeral was held at St. Daniel's Roman Catholic church in South Mountain on Sept. 26, 2006 with Father W.J. Lynett officiating. Pallbearers were her brothers Gilles, André, Yvon, Serge, Rémi and Pierre Guindon. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain.
