William C. Collins

1915 ­ 2006
William C. (Bill) Collins passed away peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family on Thurs. July 20, 2006. He was 91.
He was the beloved husband of 68 years to Evelyn (nee Thomas). He was the loving father of Gary Collins (Carol), Dianne Tupper (Earl), Beth Caldwell (Gregor), Tom Collins (Jackie), and Dolwyn Root (Bob) and the adored "Bampy" to 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
He was the founding president of Parcoll Products Ltd. in Winchester, past president of the Central Ottawa Lions Club (1959) and past president of the Rideau Carleton Golf and Yacht Club.
Friends called at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes in Nepean, on Tues. July 25, from 9:30 am until the time of the funeral service in the chapel at 11:30. A reception in the Maple Terrace of Tubman Funeral Homes and the graveside service at Johnston Corners Cemetery followed the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
