Margaret Jean Levere

Jean Levere of Winchester passed away peacefully with her beloved husband Duncan Levere at her side at Dundas Manor in Winchester on Wed., April 7, 2010, in her 85th year.
She was the loved daughter of the late George and Mary Judd. She was the stepmother of Danny, Karen, and Faye. She was predeceased by brothers Allen, Louis, Ben, Lindsay, and Russell, and sisters Doris, Mary, Shirley, and Joy. She was a very special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She was the sister-in-law of the late Joy, and Joyce and Audrey.
Jean was an active member of the Rebekah Assembly, The Independent Order of Odd Fellows and The Eastern Star for many years.
Family received friends at the W.J. Hayes and Sons Funeral Home in Shawville, Que., in the evening on Fri., April 9, and thence to Daniels Funeral Chapels Inc. in Winchester on Sat., April 10. The funeral service was held at St. Matthias' Anglican Church in Winchester on Sat., April 10, 2010. Interment at Spring Hill Cemetery in Metcalfe will be held in the spring.
