Marjorie Baker (nee Whitteker), formerly of Inkerman, passed away at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Fri., Jan. 4, 2013. She was 84.
She was the beloved wife of the late Dwight Baker. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Ron) Annable of Inkerman, Trevor (Jennifer) of Tuxford, Sask., and Isla (David) Hooper of Cardinal, and her siblings, Betty Barkley of Winchester, Solon Whitteker of Cornwall, and Marian (Don) Barkley of Inkerman. She will be fondly remembered by grandchildren, Sarah, Amanda, Travis, Ashley, and Rebecca, two great-grandchildren, Emilea and Molly, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Donald, Harry, Sheldon, and Bill Whitteker.
Friends called at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Sun., Jan. 6 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service was held at the funeral home on Mon., Jan. 7 at 11 am with Rev. Thurland Brown officiating, followed by interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville. The pallbearers were Travis Clermont, Rebecca Annable, Ryan Lewis, Steven Lagrove, Gary Annable, and Steven Schwerdtfeger.
