Orma Casselman

Orma Eleanor Casselman (nee Docksteader) of Winchester passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Ottawa General Hospital on Sun., Sept. 15, 2013, in her 63rd year.
She will be remembered by many in the area as a longtime teacher at the T. R. Leger Alternative School in Winchester.
She was the loving and caring wife of Brian Casselman. She was the precious mother of Michelle Lee Casselman of Toronto, Michael Jay (Kara-Lee) Casselman of Winchester, and Marsha Lyn Casselman of Toronto. She was the beloved sister of Phyllis (Doug) Coons of Morrisburg, and Geraldine Docksteader of Toronto. She was the dear daughter-in-law of Helen Casselman of Williamsburg, and sister-in-law of Elaine Casselman (Steve Headlam) of Kanata. She was predeceased by her parents, Nelson and Helen Docksteader (nee Dillabough), her sister, Ruth Bolch, her brother-in-law, Jeffrey Bolch, and her father-in-law, Ray Casselman.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kerry (Paula) Coons of Winchester, Krista (Ken) Clauson of Metcalfe, Jennifer (Joe) Harris of Renfrew, Derek Swerdfeger of Kanata, and Brad Swerdfeger of Toronto.
A private family funeral service was held at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Fri., Sept. 20. Interment of cremated remains was at Ormond Cemetery.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
