William James Cook

Jim Cook of Dunrobin, formerly of Chesterville, passed away at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Tues., Jan. 20, 2015 in his 80th year.
He was the dear companion of Mary Lou McKay. He was the loving father of Elizabeth (Peter) Trobridge, Daphne (Steven Rainey), Jacqueline (Jon Eckler), and Janice (Phil) Carkner. He was cherished by his grandchildren, Dylan, Lily, Weston, and Lucas.
Jim retired from Nestlé Chesterville. He served three terms as reeve of the Village of Chesterville, and was warden of the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry in 1993. In his retirement, he enjoyed working as a ski instructor at Ski Vorlage, and then at Camp Fortune in Chelsea, Que.
A spring committal will take place at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
