Students and staff at North Dundas District High School welcomed the arrival of the second semester Thurs., Feb. 1 with a pancake breakfast. Donations were accepted during the meal, with all funds earmarked for the Berard family, who lost their Hallville-area home in a fire in early January. More than $900 has been generated to date. Teacher Daphne Weyermars (above), who helped to ensure the meal ran smoothly.
Students in all grades flocked to the meal.
