The face I loved is now laid low,
His loving voice is still,
The hand so often clasped in mine,
Lies now in death’s cold chill.
I will think of quiet times we shared,
When I am all alone,
For memory is the only thing,
That grief can call its own.

The arrangements are in the care of the Tompkins Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Gananoque (613-382-3088).
