Margaret Kelly (nee O’Rourke), a resident of Chesterville for more than 60 years, passed away at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Sun., June 9, 2013. She was one day shy of her 82nd birthday.
Margaret was born in Enniskerry on June 10, 1931, to her parents, Thomas and Mary (nee Dewan). She worked for the government as a typist. On June 14, 1951, she married Neil, and they moved to Chesterville. Neil and Margaret had six children. She helped to run the farm while raising the children. She always found time for company and baking. In later years, she began babysitting. She loved these children the same as her own. She will be missed, and we will cherish her memory, and let it live on.

She was the dear sister of Teresa (Mike) Lawn of Ottawa, and Pat O’Rourke of Ottawa. She will be sadly missed by nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Marie Baxter, and her brothers, Raymond and Angus O’Rourke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville, on Wed., June 12.
