Carl Moore Levers of Iroquois, formerly ofWinchester, passed away at Winchester and District Memorial Hospitalafter a brave struggle on Thurs., April 19, 2007. He was 79.
He was the dearly beloved husband of 57 years to Elaine Levers(nee Riehl). He was the loving father of Dan (Michelle) of Winchester,David (Joy) of Huntingdon, Que., and the late Ted Levers. He issurvived by one brother Gerald Levers of Brockville. He was predeceasedby two brothers Hubert, and Lyle. He will be sadly missed by grandchildrenErin (Gord) Finlay of South Mountain, and Todd Levers of Winchester,and by great-grandchildren Samuel Carl, Olivia Grace, and AndrewGordon Finlay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and hismany friends at Tim Hortons in Morrisburg.
At Carl’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home.A private family service will take place at the South Gower Cemeteryon April 25.
Donations to Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the CanadianCancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
