Stanley W. Marriner of Winchester passed away at home on Dec.24, 2006. He was 79.
He is survived by his wife Laura Crowder, whom he married on July19, 1952 in South Mountain United Church. He is remembered bychildren David (Nancy), Leonard (Debbie), Greg, Perry (Wilda),Peter (Laurie), Anne (Chris) Gibson; and grandchildren: Trisha,Kristen; Shana, Amanda Jesse; Ryan, Daniel, Reise; Laura, Natalie,Paul, and Patrick. He was the brother of Mabel Morrow and waspredeceased by siblings Olive, Arthur, Walter, Gordon, Harold,Edward, Clarence, and Leonard.
Stanley was born in Mountain Township on Aug. 14, 1927 to thelate Ernest Arthur Marriner and Dulciene Isabel Shephard. He workedas an x-ray technologist at Winchester District Memorial Hospital.He was a member of St. Mathias Anglican Church in Winchester.
A memorial service was held at Winchester Wesleyan Church on Dec.29 with Rev. Brian Kauk officiating. Arrangements were entrustedto Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain.
