William “Bill” McMillan

William “Bill” McMillan passed away at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus on Sun., April 28, 2013. He was in his 73rd year.
Bill was born at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus to the late Blake and Edith McMillan of Winchester Springs. He was the husband of Mary (Cinnamon) of Winchester. Married for almost 54 years, he was the father of five children, Kim Sheney, Steve (Cyndie) McMillan, Kevin (Patty) McMillan, Angela (Bruce) Kulig, and Kelly Visser (Konrad Glauer). Bill will be fondly remembered and missed by his 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and his fun loving approach to life and all his comical one-liner statements will also be missed. He will also be remembered by his in-laws: Joyce and Stuart Holmes, Audrey and Arnold Stewart, Betty and Bill Griffin, Judy Cinnamon and Reg Cayer, John and Linda Cinnamon, and Susan Rooke, along with many nieces and nephews, and by his late brother Ray (the late Betty) McMillan.
Bill enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, trips to Florida in the motor home, doing all kinds of jobs in his shop, his beautiful family, and especially Ompah, which he called his heaven on earth. He retired from a self-owned refrigerator and air conditioning company. He will be sadly missed by many.
A private service was held at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Wed., May 1 at 2 pm with Rev.
