UPDATE: Robert Taillefer, 77, of North Glengarry was killed when his motorcycle collided with an eastbound passenger vehicle. The driver of the car, an 18-year-old female, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. A investigation into the crash continues.
MORRISBURG – A motorcyclist was killed this afternoon (Fri., Oct. 20) after the bike he was riding collided with an eastbound passenger vehicle.
Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry OPP officers and other first responders arrived on the scene, at the intersection of County Roads 2 and 31, just before 2:30 pm.
The male motorcycle rider was treated at the scene of the crash and was subsequently transported to Winchester District Memorial Hospital, where he was declared dead.
The driver of the vehicle, a female, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family members.
