North Dundas District High School’s (NDDHS) curling program is back in the hack and preparing for a new season. Instructor Melissa Cooper reports there are 15 high school and eight intermediate curlers currently honing their skills. There are two girls’ teams and one boys’ rink practicing for the 2017-2018 Gore Mutual School Boys/Girls Zone play downs, which will be played at the Winchester Curling Club (Thurs., Dec. 7 and Fri., Dec. 8). Grace Cave, a veteran NDDHS skip, worked on her delivery (photo – above) during last Friday’s (Nov. 17) practice.
