WINCHESTER – With more and more business being conducted online, the Winchester Press is making a major adjustment to meet the new reality head-on.

After operating with a dated website for some time, the Press is proud to present its new online platform today (Wed., May 10).

Created by Sandy Burns of Sandfire Design, the new site features an updated portal for news, sports and editorial content, as well as an improved classifieds section. Obituaries are also a major feature of the new site, as the Press features 16 years’ worth, a handy tool for family members charting genealogy.

The Press is also giving its many advertisers another tool to reach their maximum potential for customer outreach.

More than anything, the new site serves to complement the existing weekly paper, with its thousands of subscribers, and furthers the Press’ nearly 130-year history in the region.

A digital subscription service has also been made available, which will be a helpful tool for those snowbirds who head south for many months of the year but wish to get up to date with hometown news, and anyone else gathering their information digitally.

Contact information for all departments can be found within the new site, as is information on subscription rates and advertising specifications.

Despite the change, the website address remains the same –
