North Dundas District High School presented its annual staff vs. students 3-pitch game last Friday (Oct. 13) and once again the teachers prevailed, this year by an 11-7 margin. A large portion of the student body witnessed the contest, which vice-principal Michael Deighton said was an example of an experienced lineup overcoming a young and talented group of athletes. Staffer Scott Reaney was able to beat the throw at first and avoid a tag by Chris Cotton. Umpire Matt Roach was about to make the call on the play. The fleet-footed Reaney ultimately came around and scored a run for the teachers. Press Photo – Van Bridger
