Winchester Press – obit – Malcolm ‘Mac’ SummersMalcolm ‘Mac’ Summers Malcolm “Mac” Summerspassed away at Kemptville District Hospital on Feb. 3, 2005. Hewas 90.
He was beloved husband of Madeline Taylor; and dear brother ofNorma Wylie (the late Randall) and Sybil Curtis (the late Clark),both of Winchester. He was predeceased by brothers Hubert andLeslie. He was the loved brother-in-law of Inez Summers, GwenTaylor, Eva Chatham, Marion Taylor, Marguerite Taylor and JimTaylor. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
He was born on April 24, 1914 in the former Winchester Township.He was a devoted member of the Lions Club, a former long-timeemployee at Beach Industries and an avid snowbird to Florida.He was also a golfer and a curler.
Friends called at Lannin Funeral Home in Smiths Falls on Feb.6. The funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel onFeb. 7 with Rev. Larry Paul officiating. Interment was at MapleRidge Cemetery.
