Myrna Kathleen Cinnamon (nee Robinson) passed away peacefully at the Dundas Manor on Sun., Dec. 18, 2011 in her 98th year. She was born to the late Herbert and Lillie Robinson, and married Wallace Cinnamon of Cloverdale, where they farmed for 44 years and raised their family, Joyce (Stuart) Holmes of Osgoode, Audrey (Arnold) Stewart of Winchester, Betty (William) Griffin of Ottawa, Mary (Bill) McMillan of Winchester, Judy Cinnamon (Reg) Cayer of Cornwall, John (Linda) Cinnamon, of Winchester and Susan (late Keith) Rooke of Warren Grove, P.E.I. and her daughter-in-law Jane McKay of Peterborough. Myrna will be fondly remembered by 34 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren and 13 great, great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Wallace, her son Gary, grandsons Todd Griffin, Kirk Griffin, Marc Baldwin, her sister Annie Gibson, and brothers Dalton, Willis and Delbert Robinson. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Myrna was a faithful member of Winchester United Church, United Church Women, past president of Golden Years Society and Winchester Seniors Club. For 13 years she was employed at Revenue Canada.
Friends called at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg. Funeral service was held at the Winchester United Church on Thurs., Dec. 22. Interment followed at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons Trevor Stewart, Dean Holmes, Marty Baldwin, Matthew Rooke, Steven McMillan, and Wally Cinnamon.
