Ralph Dillabough, a retired farmer from Morewood, passed away at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Tues., March 28, 2017. He was 85.
He was born in Morewood on May 14, 1931 to his parents, Stanley and Lillian Dillabough (nee Ault). He was raised on the family farm along with his brother Glen, and sisters June and Doris. He was a big fan of bowling, and a member of the Chesterville Legion.
In August 1982, he married Betty Locey in Morrisburg. He became a beloved husband, step-father of Elizabeth Ouderkirk, Janice (Chris) McMillan, and Steven Prince, and grandfather, all in the same day. His 34 years as part of our family he took very seriously, and did a wonderful job.
He was a very proud grandfather of Paul and Jennifer Ouderkirk; Shaun,Bradley, and Tyler McMillan; and Ryan and Cody Prince. He was the great-grandfather of Alexis, Peyton, Ivy, Emery, Dale, and Jasper McMillan. He is survived by a niece and nephews.
The funeral service was held at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Winchester on Sat., April 1 at 11 am with Rev. Bruce Kemp officiating.
