Winchester Curling Club’s Little Rocks program (6-12 years) is underway with sessions taking place each Wednesday (5-6 pm). The club, established in 1927, is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year and is offering a full variety of ways to indulge in the ‘Roaring Game’ including: adult learn to curl, bantam and juniors (Monday), ladies mixed (Tuesday), mixed league (Wednesday), fixed league (Thursday), mixed fun league (Friday), seniors/adult day time (Monday and Thursday) as well as a Sunday evening adult mixed doubles league. Matt Roach, one of the volunteer instructors is assisting head coach Grace Cave educating 36 little rockers, led this group of the club’s more experienced Little Rock curlers through a sweeping drill during last Wednesday’s (Oct. 18) class.
