Clinton McPhee of Iroquois died at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Jan. 24, 2004. He was 78.
He was son of the late James and Sarah McPhee (nee Gray). He was predeceased by his wife Lorna Murdock.
He was dear father of Gloria (Marvin) Kenney of Hulbert, Ronald (Kate) of RR 2 Oxford Station, William (Connie) of Mallorytown, and Myrna (Bruce Green) of Ottawa.
He was dear step-father of Judy (Don) Holmes of Ottawa, Mary (Allan) Moorhouse of Maynard, Glen (Debbie) Marriner of South Mountain, and Susan Meunier of Kemptville.
He was the kind and gentle grandpa of 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was friend and brother of Donald (Audrey) of Winchester, Dorine Williams of Ingleside, Lloyd of Chatham, Dorothy (Charlie) Pitcher of Ingleside, Anna McIntosh of RR 2 Ingleside, and Rena (Ritchie) Warren of RR 2 Ingleside.
He was predeceased by sister Beulah Brassard. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
A private family service was held at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Jan. 27 with Rev. Pat Martin officiating. The service was followed by cremation. Spring interment of cremated remains will be at the Iroquois Point Cemetery.
Donations to Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre, in recognition of the tender care they provided to him, would be appreciated by the family.
