WINCHESTER – A 20-year-old North Dundas woman with an already lengthy criminal record was apprehended by police once again Tues., July 2.
This followed an incident at a Caleb Street residence late last month when OPP were called following a disturbance at the property. The investigation indicated that a known female was breaching previous release conditions by being at the location. She fled the scene prior to an officer’s arrival, however.
On Canada Day (Mon., July 1), the same female was reported to be back at the Caleb Street location. This time, the accused is said to have threatened another adult female. Again, though, the wanted woman got away before police were on scene.
Finally on July 2 officers located the accused.
Roxanne Hanson faces five counts of failure to comply with conditions of recognizance and six counts of failure to comply with conditions of a probation order, and a single charge for uttering threats.
She was held in custody ahead of a bail court hearing in Cornwall.
Prior to this, Hanson was arrested in late June following an attempted theft at a York Street property. She also has a string of offences against her dating back to 2018.
