The Metcalfe Farmers’ Market opened for the summer Sat., May 11. The market has been operating at the village fairgrounds for 26 years. Cathy Proctor, manager of the market said, “We had 40 vendors and gave away complimentary Mother’s Day cake.” She said once summer gets into full swing you can expect up to 60 vendors at the popular market.
