WINCHESTER – For many, there’s no better way to beat the summer heat than taking a cool dip in the swimming pool.

With that in mind, operation of the Township of North Dundas’ aquatic facilities in Winchester and Chesterville is in full swing.

Public swimming at each venue is available seven days a week, Monday to Sunday 1 to 4 pm, Monday to Thursday 7 to 8:30 pm, Friday 6 to 8:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 5 to 7 pm.

Family and lane swim hours are also available.

Meanwhile, both the Winchester Waves and Chesterville Rippin’ Racers swim teams are prepping for summer of competition.

Lifeguards are in place at both the Chesterville Public Pool and the Winchester Centennial Pool for the duration of the summer swimming season.
