Martin David Wheeler
July 5, 1959 – April 29, 2019

Martin Wheeler passed away peacefully at Cornwall Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 59.
He was the beloved son of Betty Wheeler (nee Elliott) of Finch and the late Desmond (May 1, 2002). Martin was the dear brother of Leonard of Chesterville, Ronnie (Penny) of Chesterville, Kevin of Iroquois, Donnie (Martha) of Chesterville, Creig (April) of Chesterville, Gordon (Marilyn) of Chesterville, Marilyn Miller (Russell) of Strathroy, and Vicki McNalty (Jamie) of Finch. He was loved dearly by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Martin also leaves behind his cherished Aunt, Cathy Wheeler; and his Godchildren, Garrett Miller and Samantha Arsenault. He was predeceased by his nephew, Jole McNalty (March 6, 2017).
He was a dedicated, hard-working man who lived life to the fullest, was an inspiration to everyone he met, and will be missed by all.
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville on Fri., May 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church in Chesterville on Sat., May 11 at 1 pm followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Chesterville. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Chesterville Branch 434.
